Guest guest
is still dealing with flare in her knee and fingers. The gastro was convinced it was colitis related, but her flare seems to have gotten worse since her Remicade treatment, which was 10/29. She did finally get in to see her rheumy for the first time in quite a while and he is confident the flare will settle down with the continued Remicade. My thinking is....she's on the highest dose for her age now...why isn't it???? To top it off, this weekend her eyes were bothering her and her right eye all of the sudden looked really red. I luckily got her into her pedi opthalmologist and he did the exam, dilating her eyes and everything....and says she's got some major inflammation in her right iris....iritis! Now it's steroid eye drops 6x a day until Friday when we go back to see him again. I just wish I knew what the heck was going on. It seems strange to me that this all happened shortly after her Remi infusion...anyone have any ideas or experiences with this?
