I went to the rheumy today and she thinks it may be Fibromyalgia but

still wants to do more tests to rule out other things. She said I did

not have enough " sore spots " but it may be due to the pain meds I

take. (Without the neurotin I would not be able to function at all!!)

Anyway, the rheumy said something interesting. She said that I am

hypermobile. She said it is hereditary. Apparently, I passed it on to

Elaney but not Elyssa. We think I got it from my dad's side. It is

not really a problem, just interesting. The doctor also thinks I have

a heart murmur. I've never had one before. Anyway, they took some

blood to test and I may find out the results tomorrow. Now for an

Elaney update!!---Elaney is doing quite well . She is still on MTX

(she is taking the maximum dose)and doing fine. There is no need to

move to Enbrel at this point. She is growing alot and still wearing

her back brace. (Her second brace!!) She has not yet started her

period and the doctors are a little concerned. I hope she will start

soon so that we do not have to visit another doctor. Her heart is

doing fine. Still has a slightly enlarged left ventricle and an

insufficient aortic valve. It is not causing problems at this time.

She has had some difficulty with her asthma. She has been needing her

inhler a lot lately.---She is wrapping Christmas presents right now.

I am so not ready for Christmas. I hope everyone is doing well.---

(fibromyalgia??) & Elaney(14 w/ oligoarticular extended JA,

scoliosis, heart problems, asthma)
