Guest guest
My son insisted on doing his own shots when he started on them at 13 and he did fine. He liked having the control. , adult onset RA, mom to Rob, JAS,
Guest guest
It is funny that Jaye is not giving herself her shot yet. She does not want it anywhere but in her arm and so she insists that I do it. The first time I did get a bit naucious but after that it was easy until I had to add the Enbrel. She is good and only twice has made a comment about the Enbrel hurting but I can see it in her eyes. I keep telling myself that I will not look at her eyes next time and then that is just where I look. I think I need to see her pain especially when I am the one inflicting it with the injection. Am I nuts or what? For those of you that give yourself the shot do you use the thigh or the stomach? just wondering. Jaye knows that when she leaves for college she will have to do it herself if she is still on them. Someone mentioned a vidoe of kids doing it themselves. Where do I find that? Guest guest
I use my stomach for MTX and used to use my thigh for Enbrel, or Humira, or Simponi. I'm on infusions now (Actemra). Guest guest
uses her stomach one week and the thigh the next week for her shot. She says it hurts way less than an arm. ________________________________ From: and Schulz <snooksmama@...> Sent: Wed, April 6, 2011 7:33:25 AM Subject: Re: kids doing shots  I use my stomach for MTX and used to use my thigh for Enbrel, or Humira, or Simponi.
