Guest guest
my daughter was seen by a rheumy after years of right knee and anke pain. blood tests normal except she always has high and reactive lymphs. rheumy said that leg felt different and put her on naproxen which has taken away all her pain. the only time she complained was when she had the tummy bug. we saw her yesterday and she felt no swelling and said to just keep giving the naproxen as needed and to see her in 6 months. she doesnt think its arthritis and if it is its a mild case. im frustrated but i guess the meds work. Guest guest
Sorry to hear of this..... we are in the same boat you are.... I know they don't want to go over board with diaggnosing, but when your child says it hurts, and they say it everyday.... it makes you feel like you're not doing your job by getting her the help she needs, and then she looks to you to take her pain away and get her help. I feel for you and will pray for you as I know how you feel. Not having the typical and classic symptoms gets us no attention. > > my daughter was seen by a rheumy after years of right knee and anke pain. blood tests normal except she always has high and reactive lymphs. rheumy said that leg felt different and put her on naproxen which has taken away all her pain. the only time she complained was when she had the tummy bug. we saw her yesterday and she felt no swelling and said to just keep giving the naproxen as needed and to see her in 6 months. she doesnt think its arthritis and if it is its a mild case. im frustrated but i guess the meds work. >
