Also Amazon.com. these dont look like old copies tho. On Ebay There is an old copy being sold... http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem & item=1980655656 Good luck Shaye RE: They induced her...and Betsy(or ...is what I wanted to name Joan, but my husband insisted we name our first girl after his sister...who by the way HATED her name, so Joans middle name is ) is going to be getting one of MY favorite books from childhood one of these days, when I can find another old copy with the cool pictures. Anyone remember " B is for Betsy " ? I still haven't talked to my daughter, though my 18yo daughter called her last night when I was at work. Joan's sister in law emailed me a picture, she is of course adorable, and to me looks like her daddy. Can't wait to hold her though. _________________________________________________________________ Tired of spam? Guest guest
Gee, I got to talk to Bill myself last night. I bet we were on the phone for over an hour, huh Bill? He wanted to see if I needed him to fax that tax form I've been trying to get from the State so I can file my stupid Sales Taxes. But come to find out Bill has the Quarterly form and I need the Yearly Form. So we talked about a whole bunch of other things. Yup, Bill's a sweetheart and always willing to help us. RE: arghhhhh sob sob chapter TWO Oh ...what a shame...what little I've done of " creative " type M & P has been pretty time consuming, so I understand how you must have felt. Even before my post hit back to my email...I got a call from Bill at Saratoga Scents...he saw the post and we tried to come up with an answer to my volcano soap. I really appreciate that kind of customer service, it meant a lot to me. Thanks Bill. Also...Kae over at Olive Tree Soaps always sends out my stuff to me so fast she almost sends it before I order it!!! Guest guest
OOH....well, Bill called me Sunday, he thinks putting the lid on right away might have made it get too hot. I just now finished yet another batch, left the lid off for a bit, and now it's sitting sort of cross wise on for another little bit. Then I'm going to take the plunge, put the lid all the way on, and go to bed. Wish me luck. I just used the last of the lye too. Guest guest
Oh my goodness!! Sending prayers your way that your husband is OK. Has he been under a lot of stress lately? That can do a lot of different things to your body. Let us know as soon as you find out what's going on with him. I talked to Shaye Hi all....I called Shaye just now cause I thought it odd that she hadn't responded on the weather. She lost power about 2 am, but she has a wood stove, so she's warm. Lost cable...but without go juice she can't watch tv anyway . She lost two trees, and has about 5 inches of ice on everything including her cars. Her show in Brockport is still on for tomorrow, but she's not sure how she is going to make it there. She was going to print up some signs and do some sewing for the show...that's out of the question now. While I was on the phone with her, my dh boss from Kodak called. DH was taken to medical after he got dizzy and passed out in his Very Important Meeting that he had today. He has been having headaches lately, so if you are the prayin' kind, could you keep him in your prayers? They told me they will let me come get him when he's stable. Got my son out chipping ice off the car. _________________________________________________________________ Add photos to your messages with MSN 8. Guest guest
thanks, think I have the kids helping out just enough so they don't complain about the extra work and the house doesn't fall down around us. The dr. thinks I dislocated the joint in the fall, and it just took a while for the stress on the joint to tear the ligament. At least the kidney stone is on the same side, so I'm not hurting ALL over(course, with the codeine, I'm not hurting much at all right now, just loopy). I'm way behind in a couple of soaping things, so I NEED to get better. The Gimp > >OMG !!! As my daddy use to say.... your an accident waiting to >happen! Just kidding! Guest guest
Hi , I'm posting this off the list as I'm sharing some personal info. I was just out in your area with my son this past Saturday. One of my sisters lives out in the Live Oak area. I know exactly where you're at. I live by the medical center area here in SA. I have a soon to be 21 y/o nephew who also has special needs and we went out to visit him as he had surgery this past Friday. When he finally came to from recovery, he kept asking for his Aunt Irma. Aunt Irma kept her word in dropping whatever she needed to do and pay that visit with a DVD as a get well gift of my babe Strait movie, he just loved it! Made his day, even while under meds but did not mind, as his day was fullfilled with family. He has gone through too much, medical wise and still has some future surgery planned. Its so good to hear what you've found here in our area with the facility you've mentioned where Timmy is at. Still its the challenges that need to be addressed. Did you get a chance to read Sunday's article in the Life section? When parents have to walk away from a child: There are no winners when the only way to get treatment for mentally ill kids is to relinquish them to the state. Its first of two parts. Sending prayers your way to Timmy and your family. Do you know a Martha L.? OMG, I forgot her last name, right now. She also has a son with Down syndrome who is in his early 20's. When I speak to her she has given me some great information but still her son does not sound like ours with the behavior issues & etc. is coming around, though. Knock on wood. Well, its good to hear from you and thanks for sharing about Timmy. Take care and may you also have a good and safe day. Irma
Guest guest
, When my daughter was 14 a specialist named Ross put my daughter on Periacton sp? (liquid) when she learned to swallow pills she went on the pills. said they were caused by hormone imbalance because she was in puberty. You might want to mention that to your doctor. I take NORVASC for a Bata blocker for migraines although I have never had a headache in my life. I get so sick in my stomach, throw up, and go totally blind. This medicine is also used for High Blood Pressure which I don't have. When this happens I go to the hospital and get an IV put in with direct meds into the blood stream. 3 or so hours later I start to feel better but sleep most of the next day. Glad I don't get them often. They are caused by stress. That is why I take the NORVASC as a blocker. Tell you daughter, Me and my daughter feel sorry for her. Guest guest
Hi ; I used to pretend Ensure was my morning coffee! I actually heated it up in the microwave 6 times per day. I have since learned techniques to keep food down, but occasionally I need to have Ensure as well. Unfortunately, it is not covered under a drug plan. When I couldn't eat any normal food, like you mention, I tried cream of chicken soup. It worked. I still eat it quite often. Have a 1/2 cup, wait 1/2 hour, try again. Constantly trying works way better than waiting several hours. All the best, . -- thanks I can so relate to the family not ever understanding. But I have been so sick in the last few months that maybe just maybe they are getting the picture. I too am so sick of running to the bathroom all the time. I can not get any normal food in now at all. Does anyone in Canada know if you can get like Boost and Resourse covered under the drug plan or anything. It is all I can get in that stays down for the most part but it is so expensive.I talked to the surgeon from Vancouver this morning and he figures I will maybe get in this fall yet.He also said I should plan to be there 2-3 weeks. Wow that is along time away from my kids.Well I better sign off I am so bad about writting a book every time I write.hahaha
Guest guest
You must be reading my mind. I was on the internet earlier today, looking for property in the Pawley's Island area. I even checked out state jobs, but social work salaries there can't touch what I make here - oh well, maybe a career change will be in order. I also wrote to the family connections program to see about services - how hard is it to get Katey Beckett waiver in South Carolina? A coworker (also a parent of a child with special needs) is also looking into that area - Sandy (aka gwhiz) and her family may also be moving down that way in a few years. We have to stay at least 2 more years because Tim is the local president and he made a committment. Katey graduates from hs in 1 1/2 years----so after that and Tim's term is up, we can move anywhere. Tim still can't retire until July 2008 - but maybe he can get transferred in 2006. I asked him today...lol! I'm definately looking at town County and not Horrey County. You gonna stay? What anchor stores will be at the new mall? Right now, our new mall has Lord and , Heichts, Neiman Marcus, Sears and JC Pennys. I rarely go to the mall and tend to stick to Pennys. Just thought I would let you know, we are getting a new theme park here. It will be on Hwy 501, near the intercoastal waterway, and owned by the Hard Rock people. We are also getting a new big mall, right near the airport. Everyone is so excited because instead of small versions of stores such as Belk's, we are getting large stores with 2 floors! The big time! The mall will open in the spring. And also, we are getting a Margaritaville store and restaurant at Broadway at the Beach, should open next spring or summer. I thought that since y'all were planning on moving here, you might like to know what we are getting. Of course, along with this all, the traffic will increase, the powers that be say they are going to handle it just fine. Sharon H.
