Guest guest
Hi all. I introduced myself a week or so ago, and now I have another question! As I mentioned before, my 12-year old DD has pauci JRA and the attendant iritis. Its looking like she will be on mtx come April when we see the dr. again. Or so we've been told. Her knees are definitely bothering her (swollen, feeling " weird " and painful, even with naproxen). I of course have no way of knowing how her eyes are right now as we are between optho appts but ... she has been complaining a fair amount that she feels dizzy when she first stands up from a sitting position. I wondered if anyone has any idea of whether this might relate to the iritis? I am loathe to bring her to yet another drs. Thanks, Michele (mom to K 12 pauci/uveitis)
Guest guest
On and mostly off for 2-1/2 years. This last month or so she has been pretty steadily taking the naproxen BID for the past 3-4 weeks. Her knees are really bothering her - usually the naproxen for 3-4 days will knock out the inflammation but not this time. In fact, I think they are getting worse because she doesn't like to complain but yet today told me her knees were " not good. " That's pretty horrible coming from K. Hadn't thought of that, thanks . I'll bet that's it. Sigh. I really wanted to wait until we saw the eye dr. to go see the pedi rheum. I guess I better call the pedi rheum tomorrow and see what we can work out. Michele Re: Uveitis question how long has she been on the naproxen ? I know my daughter had bouts of dizzyness when first of the anti inflammitory. > > Hi all.
