They are saying he will go to the OR this afternoon for the incision and drainage of his foot. We will know more after the surgery. Please keep him in your prayers! and Rob 19 JAS
Guest guest
Uncle Rusty, Long time no see anybody.Sorry about that but times are tough. Sit down and hold on to something steady. The Barefoot TN Flash is playing football this yr.He is the starting punter.Hates practice cause it's 6 hrs a week and involves about 3 miles of running per practice but LOVES games. My secret plan may be working,no more football next season but go for the 7th yr of baseball and play all stars in the fall.Football was his his dream and he swore he LOVED it and would give it 110% until running so much was involved. He is healthier and more fit then ever but have to admit I got worried when his lft knee took a hard hit from sholder pads.He had to sit out most of practice to rest and ice down.By the end of practice he was good to go.It sure didn't help when gigantor head coach was screaming " let go of your knee and run " Thats when I pulled him out and threatened to put my big, black orthopedic boot up his you know what.4 broken bones involveing the foot and ankle.Just call me MRS. Useless for now. Love and miss you handsome. Becki and now 11 SoJRA and still in medicated remission. ________________________________ From: " Robbin40@... Apparently was in such pain because there was an infection in his knee. They drained out a lot of gunk and he is in the hospital on IV antibiotics. Prayers are appreciated. Rusty said he finally got his Juno reinstalled and so the computer is working ok now. He is also working on a novel! The plot line he describes sounds fantastic!! Of course, it has an Irish theme...go figure! He does have dial-up, so I don't know how often he will be on. But wasn't it great to see him posting?? and Rob 20 JAS Re: virused and jra > > > > > > > > Yes virues and infections are > conspirators with this autoimmune > condition. Guest guest
He came home last week. I talked to him yesterday, he says he is doing well. He keeps his spirits high and keeps on keeping on. I worry about him though. He has so much going on. His eyesight is steadily decreasing, his walking is so much worse, he has heart issues, and the arthritis has been affecting his blood counts (Felty's syndrome)...
