Uveitis or something else?

Elaney has had a blind spot in her left eye for the last week. She has pigmented

cells in her retina. I was told that uveitis is usually clear cells. I took her

to the eye dr yesterday and they made us see the pediatric opthamologist today.

Now we have an appt with retina specialist tomorrow. Elaney has had arthritis

for 9 years and is now almost 17. She has never had uveitis. This is scary for

me and I am wondering if anyone has heard of this?

Hey , long time since we heard from you. Last I heard Elaney's arthritis

was doing better. How is her heart doing? Sorry her eyes are giving her fits

now. I was thinking about you all last weekend when we were in KC for our

appts. It is hard to think of Elaney as 17 cause she was quite young when we

first met and I still think of her in my mind as that little girl. I pray that

the retina specialist will have good things for you. How is Elaney taking this?

Sometimes the kids are much less concerned about things because they do not

think of long term.
