Guest guest
Hi Veri, I am sorry to hear of Jaye's struggles and I hope she gets to feeling better soon. I read what some said about mono and that crossed my mind also.. had it her sophomore year in h.s. but what I wanted to tell you is something we didn't know - apparently it isn't uncommon to get a false negative for the mono test at first. Although was really ill with it, the initial test was negative, but when symptoms had not subsided nearly 3 months later, her doctor retested her and she tested positive for the Epstein Barr virus (i.e. mono). Thought it might be helpful to know - if she tests negative but symptoms persist. Will be thinking of you both. Please keep us posted. & (poly, PIDD, Hashimotos)
