Stomach aches?

Hey everyone!

So Bradley had his Rheumy appointment last week and all his joints look great

as well as his eyes! No flares and we are doing well! Ophtho wants to keep him

on Mtx and Humira for at least the next year so we'll have to just kind of bide

our time but I have no worries there.

What I am wondering about today is if Bradley has some GI issues going on. Ever

since he was an infant, he had GI issues. He had SEVER reflux as a baby and was

on Prevacid for a while. Fast forward, he has stomach aches almost every day. He

will come home from school and say he couldn't eat all his lunch because his

stomach started hurting. Or after dinner or during dinner he asks to be excused

because his stomach is hurting. I am just starting to wonder if it is the meds

or if he is having GI stuff going on. When he was a baby he did have an Upper GI

done and it didn't show anything so we figured he was fine but now I'm not so

sure. I am thinking I need to call his Ped or should I call his Rheumy? What

kind of tests would they do on him? I hate for him to have anything invasive

done but I just feel so bad for him that he is having these stomach aches!! He

does take his Leucovorin faithfully after every injection so I don't know if

maybe we need to up his dosage? I am just not sure. I ask all of you with your

experience, what should I look in to?

Thanks everyone and hope you have an amazing rest of the week!

marie (mommy to Bradley-ANA+, Uveitis and Oligo) and ready to pop this

baby girl out!! :)
