Guest guest
Well , Sophie did well having her bone density test done ...even got to bring home a copy of her skeleton to show her friends. Which she thinks is cool. The rheumy said her arthritis is no better then it was in Jan when we decided to put her on mtx injections and at that time we found out she had a throat infection that they treated with 28 days of antibiotics, they retested on thurs to see if it was cleared up , so now its a wait and see game to find out the result, which take a week or two ....cause they say that this kind of infection can keep the arthritis medications from working ..so that maybe why she has not seen any improvements with the injections so far, but if the infection is cleared up and she does not see any improvement in a month or two they will be deciding to up her medication to Enbrel. I hate to wait that long , she is suffering and as we all know its so hard to watch our children suffer with this horrible disease. thanks all for the birthday wishes and the well wishes for our trip. Guest guest
Infections are tough to deal with. My daughter had frequent sinus infections, and it was a pain with the meds and the infections. Hopefully the infections will stay away!
