Viral Crud, will it ever go away

OK, frustration is back full force. It seems to always be there for us on the

edges but now has come back 100%. Jaye has been battling this viral crud

for over six weeks. Her symptoms have changed a bit through out it but she can

not kick it. Cold & cough to start with, over two weeks of headache, now that

the headache is basically gone she is left with the exhaustion. She has no

energy to do anything. Sinus xrays eliminated the possiblity of a sinus

infection, we saw the rheumy a week and a half ago and he checked her out good

and found nothing to give antibiotic for. He said it has to be just something

viral. I think she has missed at least one day per week of school through this

and some weeks more. She comes home and just has zero energy and lays around.

She can watch television of course and listen to music so she is not totally

bored out of her mind. But she does not want to go much at all or do much at

all. She has this light nagging cough and some stuffyness in her nose but the

do not believe she is haveign problems with her allergies. She has never had a

problem with allergies which is nice. Two days ago I went back in and asked

what else we can look for so they drew more blood and sent it off. Looking for

mono and something else I can not remember but of course they are not next day

results. Two weeks of school left and then she can sleep all day if necessary

but that sure is not the way to spend her summer. Besides she is set to have

her widom teeth extracted on May 25th and I do not want them to have to cancel

that.
