Hi folks.

A happy Monday to everyone. I hope that the weekend was good to all.

A question for you folks here (in follow-on to our sunburn saga). What kinds of

side effects should we be expecting from the steroid treatment and the mtx?

seems to he healing from his sunburn (the worst appears to be gone) but

the apples of his cheeks are still a bit red and the flush will come and go to

an extent. He also has a spot on his lower arm that is still fairly red (but it

is almost done peeling). Will the steroids and/or mtx make it take longer for

him to heal from something like a sunburn? Could either of them be giving him a

bit of a pinkish flush anyways? He's definitely gotten the weight gain/round

face from the steroids (he's got chin rolls back... lol). But I;m wondering if

there's anything else they could be doing that might be related to his sunburn

healing.

Thanks, all!

Hugs.

Our daughter was highly emotional after the steroid injections.  I think it

lasted a couple of weeks.

Hi

I noticed, and have read, that steroids make you more sensetive to the sun. I

think your skin gets a little thinner and more sensitive than otherwise.
