I know that my friend has a son that is diabetic. Those kids have a high

incidence as well. She told me that one autoimmune disease begats another. I

guess it makes sense. The over zealous immune system attacking another system.

I do know that still needs the Humira, but when he is on a GF diet, he is

sooooo much better with all of the additional symptoms. He is scared to death

of another scope and talked his rheumy into delaying the GI consult until

summer. So, I am going along with it. Don't really like it, but I am trying to

give him some control. Teenagers.
