Guest guest
....you still worry. My son-in-law called an hour ago or so to let me know my daughter has a fever. She was at 103.9 when he called, all worried of course. I had him give her Tylenol, put her in a lukewarm tub, force some fluids, etc. And gave him specific instructions if she starts hallucinating, having a seizure, confusion, etc to immediately take her to the ER. (911 is not an option where they live--they are in the middle of nowhere). She has a cough, etc. I told him to call me in 30-45 minutes with an update and her temp has decreased to about 99.9 and she is resting now. Just goes to show no matter the age of the child with JRA--they are still that--your child--and we still worry. e, mom to 'joe' 24 poly+
