Guest guest
Hi all to those of you who were asking about busy days and ending up out of strength to do anymore afterwards. I just took a short trip out of town. Just going thru the airport and getting there wore me out. I got to get out a little each day but as the trip went on my days got shorter and shorter, my nites got longer and more painful. The day I came home I got stuck in the airport for over 5 hrs and then had to practically run to the gate to catch my flight, then a guy cut me off right at the gate rushing to get there himself, hit my cane with his bag and almost knocked me down. I wanted to take my cane and smack him over the head. I was sore and hurting like heck by the time I got on the plane and even worse that nite and the next day. Today I can barely walk at all, so yes doing more does wear me out totally. But it was worth it for the few hours I got to enjoy being lazy and out doing things I never get to do anymore. Luckily I had a wonderful friend with me who helped me out alot when I ran out of gas or got to hurting tooo much. One day I woke up and it felt like fireworks going off in my sciatic nerve from my back to my foot all over the place for over 30 min, was NOT fun at all thank heavens it finally stopped. Also this trip showed me something else, how I need to have this next surgery to try and get rid of this pain that is increasing daily and pray that it will go away. Even at home I can never go anywhere for most of the day running around without payinig for it later in spades. The cost of a few hours of enjoyment is days worth of increased pain I guess. Sometimes it worth it sometimes its not, everyone can only decide for themselves. Anyway nice to be home again with all my babies (animals). Hope everyone is having as painfree day as possible.
