Thank you for this! I only have 10 days with him. He has no

pacemaker, so will start with wrists. After two years of

antibiotics I'm quite sure his immune system is " crushed. "

It seems the whipple bacteria is quite hard to get, as relapses

with this disease are quite common.

Since the bacteria has destroyed the lining of his intestines,

and he no longer can absorb nutrients that well, I was hoping

to be able to get gloves on his abdomen while there, but will

have to see how he's reacting to the wrist treatment first.

Anyway, thanks again so much for your advice!

Kind regards,

Heidi

I agree with BG to use any electical stimulation

devices on a extimities for patients w/ weak heart is

ok (no pacemaker), not sure about a chest/heart area

..for heart patient it could be very dangerous. Its

possible to reset the electric impulse that is

generated and passed through the heart via nodes to

cause heart muscle contract and retract. the

Godzilla's impulse, basically, is a shock that

potentially can cause an arrhythmia. be careful with

that. BG what do you think? Am I wrong?

Thank you, bG! I will start with putting the electrodes on the

ankles, but just remembered that dad has metal plates in one

of his feet and lower leg. Do you think that this would pose a

problem?

Also, I caught me a nice virus. My immune system, which usually

is quite strong, must have crashed under all that stress in the

last few days. I've used the gloves on face and back of neck

plus front and back of chest. My sinuses seem to have drained

pretty well, still have some headaches, though, and an overall yucky

feeling, like a good hangover, some not very productive coughing.

Hope I can get this under total control 'til I see dad.

Am incredibly grateful to you and everyone who helped develop

Godzilla and these gloves. They're a godsend!

Thank You!!!

Heidi
