Dear ,

I have never used electricity on a cat (yet), but I DID have an old cat with

kidney failure, which I kept alive for many years. Herbally, I gave her

common club moss globoli (the homeopathic 'sugary' tiny pills, one a day)

and dialysis (in the form of an infusion with the same stuff they give at a

vet for fluid loss) twice a week. Then my vet gave her shots once a week,

which I eventually took over, but unfortunately I no longer know what they

were, its been so many years.

You also need to switch to a kidney diet if you haven't already done so.

There are now special diets out there, and my vet said to feed a mostly

vegetarian diet (of course with very little agreement from the cat, but we

managed - while veggies are not considered good for felines, she explained

that the digestion needed to be as easy as possible and meat was a big

strain on the system - not sure that is, or why it worked, but it did,

obviously, as she lived for quite a few more years)
