1. Caregivers get the most use from our devices

2. Some sick people who have local infections will do very well. they

are still strong enough to use it without just letting the ball drop.

Not all of them will do it, and many will disappoint you. When it does

work you are the caregiver making it work. Sick people seldom work it

all themselves, they need a caregiver to help. If you are not normally

a caregiver in life, beware. It is a highly specialized calling and

not everyone is suited to it. Caregivers like people whether they get

hurt doing it or not. If you can't stand insults, accusations, and so

forth along with your miracles, don't be a caregiver. Instead find one

and show them this.

3. Medical doctors, authorities, scientists. I have yet to get beyond

them questioning the story instead of testing anything. I wish I had

my time back from them.

bG,

I couldn't agree with you more. I have been an Addictions Counselor for 16

years. I have been " caretaking " for the majority of those years. I recently went

to school to change careers as I have been " hurt " not by the people I have

counseled but the agencies that I have worked for over the past several years. I

love working with those who truly need help and it does take a lot of " thick "

skin to handle some of them. However, they are gems when compared to working

with colleagues who have no business in the " helping " field (working or

volunteering).

Anywho, I am now entering the field of Information Technology as a Network

Technician as I also love working with computers (technically and mechanically

inclined). I will always help others who truly want it but I won't be an

" employee " in the " addictions " field.

Thanks again for your wisdom.

cool, that's pretty much what i used to do, networking in my stronger

younger days, but now i just manage a bunch of lab machines for

microsoft. I write a little script here and there, it's light and

fun. No more reviews, just a string of 3 month contracts, and a 100

day break once a year. I think i can handle that after 10 years as a

permanent employee. I really got tired, took off in October, then

back in February, being really bored at home.

yknow, networking is counselling of sorts. they have already tried

stuff before you get there to help. they think they know what's

wrong and what to do. they often arent right, though.

if you're affable and care about people it goes a long way in the

computer field. if you keep your head under emergencies, you will

sometimes be the only one with a thinking mind at the time, if you

don't keep YOUR head then NOBODY will be thinking! :) have fun in

your new field, I know you will do well with it.
