Guest guest
This is really a gout update from a previous discussion. Yesterday I had a really acute attack that I had ignored in it's early stages the night before and in the morning. Had to head home as it was not only hard to walk it was starting to swell. The first thing I did was take 25 mg of indomethacin which is only recommended for an acute attack. This always helps, but only in massive doses for about three days for this kind of attack. Next, I downed a tablespoon of DMSO in V8 juice (yum tasty), and then got out the foam sponge godzilla and gave the toe a big workout. The skin was pink around it this morning but not itchey, as it would have been if I had just used DMSO topically on it. Before that (topically) would just make it worse and I would need to get the drugs out after that. Result is, today other than the redness from the godzilla, all pain is gone and there is no swelling. Maybe next time I will have the courage to do only the godzilla for better proof. Guest guest
When I use DMSO, I dilute it with a bit of olive oil...that will eliminate the stinging and itching. Also, be sure not to apply it with latex gloves. -Biz > > This is really a gout update from a previous discussion. Guest guest
Hello, yes by all means use the godzilla all by itself for gout! When I first learned about the godzilla the first thing I used it on was my gout (just to see what would happen) guess what? It worked! haven't had a a major gout attack in over a year now!!! If I do feel a gout attack coming on; I'll immediately apply the godzilla to it and that takes care of it. Ross Craig <lagoon@...> wrote: This is really a gout update from a previous discussion.
