Guest guest
My experimentation of big pads - 100 sq " region on belly tissue is: 1. The tissue is far less conductive than wrist tissue. Result is lots less blood near the surface and your equivalent circuit is far different. Instead of 4.7K ohms on wrist w 1 sq " pads - it's an undetermined amount on the order of 2K due to the much lower blood content near the skin. 2. The capacitance values are far higher than the 0.14 uF at wrist. 3. You WILL supply a bi-directional active filter to survive a polarity reversal. Failure to do so is irritating enough that the 3rd reversal will get you to rip it out for self defense. 4. When a filter is supplied - you can do a short across the pads for a rapid discharge of the 2 to 3 V accumulation from that polarity with a mild discomfort. This short needs to remain for near 6 seconds to get the charge drained to zero. If you use the full polarity reversal voltage immediately - it's borderline tolerable even with the filter. 5. After the 6 second delay expires and the applied voltage completes the transition - the filter takes most of 30 seconds of clipping the transient [in comfort] to reach a steady current. 6. Use of pads near 20 sq " MAY - not WILL - be successfully suppressed by a big capacitor, UNPOLARIZED - on belly / back tissues. 7. A general purpose design must allow for a wide range of belly fat content which may need more than the 6 seconds delay for obesity - the more obese, the less current will be left for gut penetration. I was astounded to find the radical change this application needs to get enough comfort to have any at all use acceptance. Guest guest
how about beefing up the pulser using say a 1Kw mains power Strobe with light element as ballast and a large self wound copper coil.....the problem with Beck pulser is it was not heavy duty enough .......but be careful not to burn out the coil with too frequent charges ......say one per second should be ok. ________________________________ From: Joe <aubug2@...> Sent: Friday, December 26, 2008 9:20:15 AM Subject: Re: Bob Luhrs aka Baby Grand? re big pad use My experimentation of big pads - 100 sq " region on belly tissue is: 1. Guest guest
there's a list called magpulser that has these for sale I bought one. Have not used it yet, saving for something like anthrax or similar deep tissue infection. It uses 2 car batteries and is supposed to be extremely powerful and can repeat the pulse every second or so. there was an AC powered coil about 3 feet in diameter that you sat inside and plugged into the mains. It supposedly created a pulsating ac current in the body without electrical contact with skin. that also might work. these are ambitious projects however, and few people will mount the effort, I'd think. making and selling them is hard as well. the simple dc solution with AA's etc batteries, seems to offer a way under the radar without risks, and with possible huge benefits. I can't even get people with hiv-hepc to respond regularly to mails on this, probably a symptom of the disease is the reluctance to deal effectively with it, which increases the spread also. clever little virus. bG > > > > > > I read your post about the lining of the gut sequesters most of > the > > > HIV.
