Guest guest
After some vigorous flossing my wife complained off a moderately severe toothache -upper molar. The pain hadn't diminished in an hour so I modified one of the many godzillas I have lying around to have a sponge covered electrode about 1/2 long by 3/8 " square to position against her gum on the inside and a larger electrode to go outside her mouth on her cheek. She held them in place with her fingers. This godzilla has a potentiometer so starting at zero she gradually increased the voltage. When it got to about 4.5volts she could feel the current but it wasn't unpleasant. She used it for about 20 minutes, reversed polarity one time. She stopped using it when the pain disappeared. Pain hasn't recurred for 24 hours. My wife is 76 has no contraindications like pacemakers etc. Cheers, Beggs
Guest guest
, thanks, I'll file this. Wonderful the pain is gone. I had one recently and was pain free after 3 applications of 20 minutes over 2 days. It lasted months, until the top of the tooth split in half. Dentist did not believe my story. I didn't either, but there it was. It really delights me you are out there with " the many godzillas " . To think people are doing this and it's helping! I worry it's too hard for people or too scary, or too strange to do. Maybe not. bG > > After some vigorous flossing my wife complained off a moderately > severe toothache -upper molar. Guest guest
Yeah, me to again. This is the 3rd or 4th time it has stopped a tooth ache for me. We were scheduled to take a trip for a week, or so, when I could feel a tooth ache coming on. No real pain, but when I walked across the room I could feel an upper tooth jar. Can't explain it exactly, but it felt like it was loose and bouncing in the socket. There was no loosness to any tooth. Anyway, I took a couple of electrodes that I had made years ago with stainless cotter pins covered with cloth, wet them and put them between the cheek and upper gums, on both sides of my mouth for about 20 minutes. The next day it was gone, but later it seemed to be coming back, so I treated it again a couple times, and now it has been over two weeks and no evidence of anything out of the ordinary. Fun stuff, when you consider how miserable a tooth ache can be, expecially when it happens on a week end. Dick
