You can also wet some gauze with colloidal silver and keep applying so the area stays wet with the CS. Lavender essential oil might be helpful as well. Best wishes, Nenah

Guest guest
Kerosine right after a sting is an old remedy. jp > > > Yesterday my husband was stung numerous times by yellow jackets (?) that > swarmed out of the ground. Guest guest
Edith, Both I and my neighbor were stung by yellow jackets last week causing large welts. I used homeopathic apis 200c and urtica urens 200c with good results. the swelling and redness did not go but the itch and pain did. It still took several days for the whole mess to clear up. My neighbor, who used the same remedies had even better results than I did, with the swelling almost gone in less than 24 hours. Guest guest
Hi Edith. Sorry I wasn't here for the excitement. Nothing works better than the magnetic pulser of the beck unit. My dad stepped on a wasp and for elderly people this is so not good. They are more sensitive to pain. He was quite destressed. I put his foot on the mag pulser and within 45 minutes you couldn't even tell he had been stung. You can also use the electrodes of the beck unit on each side of it. You could also use a nine volt batter. Strip some wire from an electrical cord. Spit the wire so there are two of them. Attach a wire to each pole of the battery Apply the other ends of the wires to the affected area. Reverse their position every minute or two to reverse the polarity. Electricity will neutralize even deadly snake venom. A stun gun would work too, but it is a lot less fun and can cause cardiac arrest. Guest guest
Hello,Yesterday, I don't know if it was wasps for sure because they were not very large and they bit me through my clothing. I thought it was horse flies. But in any case I just kept on working in the garden thinking the pain would go away. When it didn't I went inside and used my 9 volt lantern battery with 2 sets of cords. The first I attached above and below the sting on my arm with elastic hair ties. The second bite was on my hip so I held one sponge on each side of the bite. I did this for a total of about 10 minutes and reversed the polarity at about 5 minutes. I did not notice any decrease in pain. I took 1/2 an aspirin last night and didn't have pain during the night. Today, no pain. My arm looks good, but my hip has an inflamed itchy area about 2 " X4 " with an even redder lump in the middle. So, I'd like to trest but am not sure if I should hold the sponges one palm on each and if beside the bite is better than on the bite. Would one hand pressing on both work?Any thoughts? Guest guest
I would have put the electrode directly on the bite, and one opposite side of body to direct current down into the area more...but who knows, it might not have been any good for the bite anyway, yet people report they get great results on bites. bG > > Hello,Yesterday, I don't know if it was wasps for sure because they were not very large and they bit me through my clothing.
