Guest guest
Hi, take a look at the menu/photos section. None of the devices here has automatic polarity switching. The ones on the 2 group has photos of that design. We have reports on bone usage. One with bone infection seemed to clear up and she has been using it for years every time there is a flare up, instead of the surgery she used to get for it. But your bone issues may not be the same thing, so it's really up to you if you want to experiment with this. If you do so, then please report your results. Guest guest
Thanks bG for your help in getting me registered and in answering my questions. Does anyone know how deep the electrical current can penetrate? The lesions I have are located on my spine. I understand and accept that whatever I do is an "experiment" that I'm doing on my own, but I know I'll be asking more questions down the road, particularly in constructing a Godzilla that might help me. I really have no scientific/engineering background and I'm not too good with assembling things--even if instructions are provided. Again, thanks. Guest guest
Sorry group for all these questions, but is the Fork Paddle godzilla the largest one? Also, how can you tell the power of your current? I've heard mention of a "meter". Where would you buy one? Thank you Apr 6, 2011 03:09:04 PM, wrote: Thanks bG for your help in getting me registered and in answering my questions. Does anyone know how deep the electrical current can penetrate? Guest guest
in our menu/photos section there is one with a meter, go to hardware store, ask for a multimeter. various handles/paddles can be used, you can improvise on that. but be sure the handles are insulated so current does not come down the handles. bG

Guest guest
current can reach deeper than the spine. one case it went into ankle bone, so I guess it could get into spine as well. lesions are not germs so there's no telling what this will do. you should use only a minute or two the first day, and observe. you are putting current into something we know nothing about, in an area where you could jeopardize your spine if you get some odd swelling or dioffs too large to disperse. If it causes swelling and presses the nerve channels or spinal cord it could freak you out, if not cause any real damage. I want you to succeed, but you should be aware of the need to sneak up on this VERY slowly and cautiously. add the potentiometer and the meter, and set to .1mA or less at first...test, test, test. k? bG

Guest guest
bG, can you please update the files with specific numbers for current. How much current to apply? Which multimeter setting to switch to. What numbers you should get? I still go by feel, as I cannot find a definite answer - if it starts to burn, I lower the current. If not - keep it going. > > > in our menu/photos section there is one with a meter, go to hardware store, ask for a multimeter. > > various handles/paddles can be used, you can improvise on that. but be sure the handles are insulated so current does not come down the handles. > > bG >

Guest guest
Sure. I entered the values 300-600 microamps, or .3-.6 milliamps, right into the photo description of the meter in the " metered godzilla " assembly photos, so when you add the meter you will know what values to use. We have so many files now it's hard to say where to find anything! I am thinking of just piling it all up into one big " historical " folder and starting all over with what we now know. Oh for the time to do all that... There's a note here, the pads sizes and number of pads you use will contribute to the total current reading. If using one set of small pads about 1-2 inches in size, or several sets of pads of larger sizes. With more surface area you should use more current, since it will be divided up amongst the total size in square inches of the pads. I generally use 4 " x 4 " pads and use about 400-600 microamps, or .4-.6 milliamps. It will take a bit of experience to feel comfortable with all this, but it becomes easy after a few times. Once you use the meter you never want to go by feel again, although it does work either way. Be sure you shut OFF the meter so the circuit is interrupted for storage between sessions. bG > > > > > > in our menu/photos section there is one with a meter, go to hardware store, ask for a multimeter. > > > > various handles/paddles can be used, you can improvise on that. but be sure the handles are insulated so current does not come down the handles. > > > > bG > > >

Guest guest
Thanks, bG Can you please revive a file called " Voltage And Time Info " as it is dead. I would also suggest a " first time manual " file, where basic information is stored: 1. What to read on how to make Godzilla 2. How to use Godzilla - current, voltage, how long 3. Where to place electrodes for different type of issues I guess number 3 can be separated, but the 1 and 2 would be very helpful for new members. > > > > > > > > > in our menu/photos section there is one with a meter, go to hardware store, ask for a multimeter. > > > > > > various handles/paddles can be used, you can improvise on that. but be sure the handles are insulated so current does not come down the handles. > > > > > > bG > > > > > >

Guest guest
I relabelled it technical so people will not use it. It is correct and valuable. I will have to go over all the info on this site to get a good fresh start. The recent addition of the current readings on the meter should help a lot. I want people to use the meters if possible, so may gather up the other designs in a " historical " folder, and just leave the metered one, possibly adding the 100K pot (?). Currently I am working a hard fulltime job so this will have to wait, and anyone else with time might want to work something up. ? bG > > > > > > > > > > > > in our menu/photos section there is one with a meter, go to hardware store, ask for a multimeter. > > > > > > > > various handles/paddles can be used, you can improvise on that. but be sure the handles are insulated so current does not come down the handles. > > > > > > > > bG > > > > > > > > > >

Guest guest
Thanks, I should have looked at the photos first. I have decided to build a Metered Godzilla. I'll buy a multimeter at Radio Shack. Can you get those large sponges at any supermarket? Do you need a Potentiometer with the Metered Godzilla. Thanks pr 6, 2011 08:48:50 PM, wrote: in our menu/photos section there is one with a meter, go to hardware store, ask for a multimeter.various handles/paddles can be used, you can improvise on that. but be sure the handles are insulated so current does not come down the handles.bG

Guest guest
if at radio shack pick up 100k linear potentiometer, maybe 3 bucks. sponges you have to hunt for, sometimes supermarkets or drugstores, maybe auto parts places. bG
