Guest guest
Hi Carmen, It doesn't matter how long ago you worked, what matters is that you paid into Social Security. They count quarters (of years) that you paid in-you need a certain minimum but it is not much, your SS Office can pull this up on their computer. Then they need to determine if you are disabled-you fill out a lengthy form and sign releases for medical records-it helps if you have these records to give them to them, otherwise it can take forever. It usually takes about 3-6 months anyway. If you have paid in enough and if they can substanciate disability, you will receive a monthly check based on how much you paid in. You are also entitle to a retro check, based on date of onset. After two years of recieving SSDI, you are then eligible for Medicare. Hope this helps- Re: Thanks! Hi Tricia, You seem to know a lot about SSDI and other stuff soooooooooo....... I haven't worked for almost forty years. Am I eligible for any help? xxoo, Carmen

Guest guest
Dear Stuart I do not recall if I got back to you on this one. I am going over the 175 plus messages that is unusually high, to see if I forgot anything or any one! In my Files section there is a list of books (there are a few more available now) with a personal opinion on them). Try study guidebook review or something like that. It is not too far from the top of the list of files. I think I read where you already picked out a book. If it is not on the list please let us/me know how it is doing for you. I would like to update the review with personal accounts of REAL student/member usage. Secondly, you may need more time than September 1, such as October 15 or so! Don't worry you will pass if you are dedicated to study and are studying this far in advance! You will do fine, just fine! Got ot my link section and find the TOP 200 Drugs link. From there study the most common about the top 20 - 30 drugs. Know the pharmacology for each: Trade/generic/Classification Name Abbreviations and subclassifications Use/purpose Availability:dosage forms and strengths UAD- Usual Adult Dose Drug/Food/Herb interactions Adverse Reactions: Side and Toxic Effects Mechanism of Action Specific unusual information about this drug Precautions when dispensing or administering Possible errors that may exist with this drug during dispensing I do hope this helps you out. Using www.studystack.com will also help you to place the above information in an electronic flash card system for memorization. Also scour the internet for photos of each product and look at it while you study the pharmacology so that when you go to the exam you may recall the information better, and when you go on the job you will be able to easily retrieve the product from the shelf. Hope this helps you out! I think I've finally decided to go it on my own and take the test in November (if, I feel that I am ready by September). All of the resources and explanations are greatly appreciated! I'm sure I will probably have tons more questions in the near future. Does anyone know where I can get a full list of all the drug names and what they do and the such? Or does anyone recommend any textbooks for it? I guess I ought to do what you suggested and start studying a few a day so that by September I may have em all memorized. Guest guest
Yes, Marilyn, hitting the site does seem to become a dependance. However, I took a lot out of sites like this before my operation, and I hope that I can return at least a fraction of what I benefited from. I had to delete a lot of mail today and yesterday (I get maybe 350 emails a day and if don't get to it, it soon fills my box), so I missed this til I saw it in Marilyn's post. Guest guest
If you are monitoring your t-cells you are in trouble. They are not a sign of health -- they are a response to toxins in your bloodstream. The healthiest people on the planet have lower counts than you. If you're tired stop letting these vampire quacks suck out your blood and terrorize you with their misinformation. In my observations and personal experience I've found that the overwhelming majority of people who think they are eating healthy aren't. The only foods that are truly healthy are raw vegan organic whole foods. Animal products, including yogurt, are not good for you. Processed foods, including tofu, tempeh, etc. aren't either. Cooking destroys about 87% of the nutrients in foods. Chances are the supplements, herbs and other things you are taking in the pursuit of health aren't helping you either. Almost everyone on this planet is overly toxic and acidic. I suggest you read up on Natural Hygiene or Life Science and pick up a book or two on fasting or juicing for detoxification. I am close to you, in London. Best wishes, Tangerine p.s. sweet that you called me Tangy, that is what I was called as a child! Guest guest
Hi Ellenjiah, can you tell us more about this Kurosawa Cocktail? I never heard about it, I looked it up on the Internet and seems quite interesting. Do you know anybody else who's using it? Are you using all the ingredients? Please keep us posted with your experience, the info might be useful to many. As for me, I am Italian and writing from Italy. For Tangerine: Tangy, why don't you tell us your story? It seems to me that you have a lot of info that might be useful. If anyone has experienced alternative tratments modalities (ndina, PC1, Impi, Revivo, Ozone...), please share. This is what this group is about, Healing and Curing AIDS. Try to take a look at the initial posts, they're all about that. And much, much more interesting than the actual posts. If you have been sick and recovered using some alternative approach, please share. If you are healthy and keep yourself that way using something, please share. If you're healthy and have lots of opinions about why you stay that way, I am happy for your health, but I am not interested in your opinions. Information on the dissident debate is readily available. On the Net, and in bookstores. I don't need to read endless bitching posts in which one part is trying to convince the other, in order for me to make an opinion about it. But info on treatment modalities is NOT readily available. So please share. , you seem to have quite an experience on actual cases. I don't see why you're wasting all your energy, debating always with the same people, about something so removed from reality. Tell us about your healing experience instead. Guest guest
Hi Merc: Ah, the voice of reason. Thank you for that but I really do not mind if it helps at all and from the off-group mail I get I would think it does. There is a lot of pain in us all and the ones that have those views in my opinion are just taking that pain out of them and writing about it, good therapy. I truly would like to tell you all about my experiences in treatment protocols; however I think in this type of setting it would come off as commercial and I try to avoid that. If it is the will of all of you, I will do it but I truly do not want that if it ruffles feathers, this is your group and I would like to stay within the rules. I have built three websites with info on all that I and my colleagues do, they should all be ready soon, as I am doing them myself it is taking a bit of time, one will include the most information, true information on the web regarding this and will also include reviews on treatment regarding all forms of oxygen therapies, doctors, clinics, real truth. I am doing this because I believe it is needed, there is so much hype that alternative has become just as bad as mainstream and that is not good especially for people that are scared and do not know where to go. As to my posts, I will wait for all of you to ask questions as to what you would like to know in the hopes that my answers do not offend anyone. Guest guest
Hi Ellie, I am in Seattle WA,I have already started with a G.I. a Dr. Gluck at Virginia Mason Hopsital in Seattle. If you would like I could ask him when I go back to see him next week, who he would recommend for this kind of surgery in Seattle. Dr. Gluck is also associated with the University of Washington School of Medicine. Anyhow I go back to see him on the 16th and would be happy to ask for you if you want me to. in WA > > Its so good to be around people who are helping each other. Guest guest
I think the seasoning works best if it is done when the pan is hot. So you can either apply the oil and then heat it up, or heat it first (which I do after I wash it to dry it out) and then apply the fat. Plus as others have mentioned, just cooking with fat will season the pan, too, but it takes a little longer. --- Mimi Schirber <mimi@...> wrote: > Thanks everyone for great cast iron care, feedback, > and encouragement! Guest guest
Jackie, The thing you could also focuse on is that Shriners in SLC, Utah and Erie are the BEST OF THE BEST facilities where Jessie could get treated for his scolio - not sure if it would help a great deal in court -but you are right for the simple fact that he has not been treated when he should have been - that don't look to good on mom. Jessie's birth mother has made things much more difficult. It takes a lot of your spare time getting ready for the courts. This weekend I am focused on collecting information on how Jessie's daddy and I can give him the care he should have had back in Spetember when his degree was 35. I heavily pray we get Jessie next month to get him started with the casting. You know I had thought about requesting Jessie's x-rays early on so we could pick them up while we are in Arkansas but never thought about making an appointment in Erie. You all are wonderful people. Guest guest
Greetings, I Reallt appreciate all the good responces to the quesstion I ask about the difference prejudices shown to people of color and " little people. I really don't even like that term because to me it seems to me it puts some kind of line of difference between you guys and people of " normal size " . It seems to me that it would be a better world if people would start to look for similarites rather than differences! That'st my two cents worth for the moment! You could take along oats w/ protein powder or protein mufffins. k8tzar wrote: I just wanted to thank everyone for your support last week during my 5th week freak out. I'm sure there will be more doubts along the way, but knowing that you are all going through the same things helps me stay strong and push myself through. As part of my self-eval, I went through all of my old progress reports and I noticed that a lot of days I've skipped meals.
