Where I went to high school, anyone put on report had to report to the Commandant's Office with the person who issued the report, so they could both understand officially why they were put on report and to plead their case. This all went on behind closed doors and was not for public perview.
Guest guest
Probably did, although I'm having a hard time remembering an Evan. Regarding the watch list, don't worry Kate. Just means they are going to keep a little closer eye on you for a bit. AS types tend to overreact sometimes, so someone else panicked.undxdaspie <Kate-Irvine@...> wrote: Might I make a suggestion to the Aministrators?Forgive me but wouldn't it be a good idea to automatically send the reason to the member via private e-mail at the same time that you post on the forum informing them of your decision. That makes much more sense to me anyway.Kate2 (who still feels she has missed something here, as usual)If you love something, set it free! Guest guest
Recognize that you are valued here. We admins are just going to be a lot more watchful and careful of ALL posting by ANYONE from now on so we can better serve the Aspie community. Tom Administrator I know its not that serious and hey I am not really worried, its just that say for example a policeman stopped you in the street, you would sure as hell want to know why wouldn't you? Its a question of human rights I guess. Kate2
Guest guest
Thanks for this Tom, its nice that I am valued, however I think I may still leave because all this is distracting me from RL and other issues and I am not feeling entirely comfortable on here now. Shame really, I thought I was settling in here....... Oh well. :-( In , environmental1st2003 <no_reply@...> wrote: > > Recognize that you are valued here. Guest guest
I think it was already stated previously that if a member has a problem with these measures then they can get in touch with the admin/mod's via personally emailing. We are being very open posting what is going on and the descions that have been reached. This is in an effort to stop argueing, so if anyone has issues take it up with the mod's/admin via email. If we were to discuss all the reasons here on the boards it would just add to all the argueing and confusion. > > Might I make a suggestion to the Aministrators? > > Forgive me but wouldn't it be a good idea to automatically send the > reason to the member via private e-mail at the same time that you post > on the forum informing them of your decision. > > That makes much more sense to me anyway. > > Kate2 (who still feels she has missed something here, as usual) >
Guest guest
I have decided to leave FAM altogether as you will see from my previous post to Tom. There is one thing I would like to say before I go, particuarly to you . What is this thing you have about e- mailing privately? What is the point of having a forum and then chatting behind everybody else's backs? You might just as well continue to post to each other privately. I have always thought that a forum was a public discussion list for all members to read. Anyway all the best to those that I have chatted to and that value me but my patience is now exhausted. I do not regret joining FAM and have no intention of running any of the boards, or its admin and members down to any others in conversation. I will however be moving on. Pleased to meet y'all folks. :-) best wishes Kate2 In , " greebohere " <julie.stevenson16@...> wrote: > > I think it was already stated previously that if a member has a > problem with these measures then they can get in touch with the > admin/mod's via personally emailing. Guest guest
Okay - it is your descion to leave. I will try yet again to explain about the emailing. Admin would like the boards to run smoothly therefore there are certain topics that are not to be discussed as experience has shown particular topics are inflamatory. These boards are intended as a safe place for all - yes they are a discussion board, but within limits - not a free for all where anything and everything goes, such boards usually end up burning out due to bickering - there are plenty of examples strewn across the internet. Also this is a place where friendships can be made - I personally email other members. The reasons being it would be selfish of me to take up all the board space going backwards and forwards posting with mostly just one member and also some things I do not like discussing on the boards because they are personal to me and I do not wish all and sundry knowing my personal business. There is much going on in my life offline - would you have I post every little detail of my personal life? I would neither expect you to do that either - whether you post personal stuff is up to you. One member I post to I share an interest in Pratchett books with, should I dominate the boards with constant talk of Pratchett books to the exclusion of all else? I have mentioned Pratchett on the boards before, but when I discovered someone else who very much liked Pratchett too, I made the desicion to offer to email privately - I still respond to their posts online when I get chance, I cannot respond to every post mind due to other commitments in my life. I hope this has fully cleared things up now? If not email me :-) Of course you do not have to email me - but I believe I have certainly said enough on the matter now. > > > > I think it was already stated previously that if a member has a > > problem with these measures then they can get in touch with the > > admin/mod's via personally emailing. >

Guest guest
I must quickly edit 's post to include that I'm an amateur at recording things and that the tape ran out twice before I noticed. What I will do is transcribe the tape and fill in, as best I can, from my notes. It won't be complete but it'll be better than nothing and when I post it, others there can add, correct, etc. what I say. So please hold off on your requests. -Ellen Diamond On Nov 8, 2008, at 5:24 PM, jb50192@... wrote: > Hello Folks - we just had a great NYC LRF Workshop. Drs. Guest guest
Hello, This is strictly a defensive suggestion. In these days of federal agencies ready to protect the profits of the cut (surgery), drug, & burn (chemo and related procedures) indutrial complex, one cannot be too careful. I am going on a program of printing everything that I see of value. And then I will hightlight particualr pathology that appeared to be helped by our experimentation. Lastly, I am going to file these paper copy reports by the name of the cited pathology. The library where I live allows 75 pages of printing per week with no charge.
