Guest guest
You are right abt pneumonia. It can be lethal. Today there are nebulizers for around 30 bucks (omron makes a good one). Get one and some silver sol or finely made colloidal silver, use that. I believe that is most efficient way. Godzilla devices cannot reach the germs in the lungs very well. Don't use a humidifier, you need a real nebulizer to make small enough droplets to reach the lungs. humidifiers only reach the throat. bG > > Report on PNEUMONIA bout, not preventing, recognizing or treating it. > > Thanks for asking for a report. > Haven't posted in awhile. > Haven't posted cause I didn't have anything useful to add. > Been WELL... up until, suddenly, I wasn't. > And I didn't post after the pneumonia cause I felt too stupid about contracting it and not recognizing I was sick. > > Folks DIE from pneumonia. > All the fine information and wonderful devices are no help at all ... if one's brain cells don't 'kick-in' and the info/devices actually get USED. > > Follows is the tale of what could have so easily lead to dying. > > - - - - - > I've been WELL, now, for so many years (THANK YOU original Godzilla/6v battery & wire) that I'd gotten complacent, and 'forgotten'. > > And when I did get sick, didn't realize I was 'sick'...just got feeling worse and worse, 'tho not actually 'barf/sick' to the point of realizing I was SICK. (ei:to me, 'sick' is head-cold stuff or tummy/barf sick) ...just got to the point where for several days felt like doggiedodo, getting worse and worse, was getting harder and harder to breathe, too, and inhaler was seemingly ineffective at relieving the breathlessness. > > Things came to more clarity when, one morning, daughter roused me and asked was I 'ok'...that I'd still been in that same position, in bed, yesterday. Well, pretty much, no, I wasn't ok, and had pretty much just lain still for days, not even reading, except for occasional toileting trips the last couple of days...and that was difficult to force myself to get up to do, lol, but thankfully the urgency of a full bladder trumps laying still trying to ignore it. > > After daughter left for work, considered going in to see the doc after the weekend was over, this being Fri morn. > Felt so bad, reconsidered, called doc for a 'walk-in' and FORCED self to get up, shower, dress and drive self to the doc...who promptly hospitalized me with pneumonia. > > Pneumonia? huh? what gives? Guest guest
I can vouch for the use of a nebulizer with colloidal silver in freeing me from chronic and repeated lung infections, often resulting in pneumonia. As of two years ago, I have remained completely free of colds. Any congestion is quickly stopped with the nebulizer. I get colloidal silver from Utopia Silver (Meso Silver is also good). Guest guest
Lou, do not feel bad. Who knew, huh? My husband went to work one Friday feeling fine. Got home after work and said he felt like he was 'catching something' and didn't feel like eating. Instead he went right to bed and slept the night. Next day, he felt achy and ill, but not a cold, yet not the flu as his stomach wasn't upset. We thought it was just some odd sort of flu. He stayed in bed all day and by evening seemed to be running a temp. Sunday morning I took his temp as it hadn't broken and it was 104. I went to the pharmacy and spoke to the man there, who told me to give my husband Tylenol. He said 'if it breaks the fever, he's fine. If it doesn't break the fever you should take him to the hospital". Gave him Tylenol and sure enough, 20 minutes later the fever was gone. But--in 4 hours, when the pills wore off--boom, spike right back to 104. I'd give him more pills and fever would break again. STILL thought it was some sort of flu, as he had not been sick one bit before this. But Monday morning I made him get up and go to the doctor, only because the fever would come back every 4 hours. The doctor took one listen to his chest and said "this man has double pneumonia and he must go to the hospital NOW. I will call him in a room. He has no time to waste". The doctor really expected him to die that night!! He was so surprised to see my DH alive Tuesday morning--thanks to a nurse and no thanks to the doctor at all. It took almost a month before DH felt himself again. He's never been bothered with it since. That was over 25 years ago. Never got any weakness in the lungs from it either. I wish I had known about Godzilla and nebulizers and CS then. And now I take every sudden illness seriously. But, at the time--who knew?
