I had not thought of insulating the

hands. Rubber gloves or even baggies would work. The device is also a

defibulator. I should have mentioned that, but I am very careful with anything

electrical near the device. I have talked about it with my endocrinologist. I

am seeing cardiologist next month, but I have told him about it, briefly. jim

also, with a pacemaker, you should insulate the

sponges from the hands so current does not travel through them and through the

heart area. It's unlikely to cause trouble but you want to be extra-careful

there.
