Guest guest
bG, Thanks for the reply. In all fairness to our doctor I have to say that I could not have given him much info at my first visit as my condition was about the same as previous visits to him prior to my finding CS three years ago. (No problems since then till now.) Those visits were usually followed by hospital and pneumonia. At this visit I did not know enough to wonder about cause and effect. He just ordered x-rays of chest and sinuses plus stool and sputum samples. By the time results came back, all tests were negative, I suspect the result of Godzilla and CS. But my cough and congestion were still about the same. That's when I got curious and started looking for clues. However, I agree that later he may not have gone into detail about possible causes or environment, tho it may not be fair to judge him as I didn't return for another visit. I don't really know what he would have done. He just referred me to a pulmonologist for detailed examination of my lungs rather than question why my tests were all negative. He is a highly respected doctor here and we like him very much. He knows about my use of CS, used to laugh about it but lately says nothing. I suspect he has now read up on CS. I haven't said anything about Godzilla. I was seeing improvement daily, except that I have been unable to sleep on either side or my back. That would start a tickle, then a coughing spell. Out of curiosity I made an appointment to see the pulmonologist next Tuesday. Last night, after sending the above report to you and going to bed, I finally found I could lay on my side with little coughing. Finally got a good night's sleep BUT I woke up congested and coughing again! Today I have been using Godzilla and CS. We'll see what gives tomorrow!Bill
