Guest guest
These come up sometimes but usually there's not a lot to say, since it's been many years and these designs you see in menu/photos are based on both logic and tests. There will be misquotes and strange numbers around, for example beck said the device must be capable of several milliamps. Well, yes, on a short circuit sure. But in the body, that much current would not be tolerable. Instead the body's resistance lowers it way down to around .1-.5mA. Turning the device way up, you can get more, but will burn your skin, we have also done that with both our devices, and also beck's device. You know, we used to use only beck's device here? It was a bold and argumentative episode when I decided to try the simpler design so more people could try this. We watched reports, filed them, modified devices for many years. Finally we got these you now see. The current device with meter, is the one I myself use, and so does my daughter. If I could come up with a better one, it would be easy to do so, but this one offers simplicity, low cost, reliability, precise readout of current, and ease of use. It also does everything the more expensive ones do except automatically reverse the current. For the typical user, this would not be necessary. If you find it inadequate, please report your usage and results so I can ponder it and fix any problems. I think you will find if you build one with the meter, that it will do your bidding for a very long time. bG
