Guest guest
This fellow Duchenne is a Frenchman who was apparently the go-to guy in electrotherapeutics in the 1800"s. At least, when someone sorta disagreed with him it was with a heavy disclaimer and a humbly apologetic manner. From what I can make out from what I have read anyway. I am hoping someone more knowledgeable than I am which is just about everyone on this list, will spring for his Treatise book and check it out. He gives ways to treat every part of the body--at least the way he recommended and had experience with. It seems entirely possible that some useful techniques may be discovered this way. I can get the book--abebooks has it for about $25.00 plus shipping, and I am going to do that, but I won't be able to do the material justice. That is a foregone conclusion and a correct one. Just don't know enough. But some of you can do it justice and can adjust things to our modern batteries. At least there is a good possibility for this. I hope someone will do this. Who knows what can be gleaned from this very well respected practitioner. The book has 322 pages, but it won't be necessary to read all that. The Table of Contents will let you narrow down your field of work so it shouldn't take so much time. Anyway--just a thought. pj
