ing's stuff helped me, too.

Currently I take Arginine-LKG powder about 5-10 grams a day from Swanson for

arterial health concerns.

vit c does not reduce infections, but can aid rebuilding collagen and may offer

some reduction in plaque.

taking lysine with arginine is not advised.

BG and all,

Vitamin C in high enough doses will kill any germ or toxin. A Dr. Klenner was

curing polio in the 50's in 3 days, rattle snake bites, tetnus, rabies, cyanide

and arsenic, with massive doses of intravenous vitamin C. See:

not sure why aterial plaque and systemic infection would be related causally,

here? Plaque forms from LDL, specifically the small dense type generated from

digestion of fructose and ethyl alcohol. It has been found (good news) your

steak forms the other LDL which is large lightweight and does not cause plaque.

It can still clog you up with fat but does not fit under the aterial linings to

cause plaque buildups due to its large size.

Years ago I had a coversation with Linus ing about Vit C therapy. He said each individual needs to find his effective level of Vit C. I exsperimented and found that I needed 7 grams with bioflavonoids, rutin. B vits. etc every two hours for effective treatment. I am able to cure most things with this treatment but the body removes the Vit C within two hours so you must be certain to take it so it it in the body. Many people have diahrrea with that amount of Vit c but I have never had a problem with it. From: baby_grand <no_reply > Sent: Thursday, June 30, 2011 9:27 AMSubject: Re: Thinking Out Loud Here

this is interesting, thanks. I found some info from NIH with an in-vitro study

on cancer that looked very good. But dated 2005, and there's not really a

followup study I could find on it.

It is still being used by combinational therapy doctors, per a later report in

around 2010. It was noted vit c has emotionally charged past. But for cancer

at least, the taking orally will not work, per the study as the levels would be

limited by digestive absorption, and that means too low to be in the sweet spot

of effectiveness. But it is avail for about $100/session IV drip vitamin C.

Not sure all the uses, the list is long.

Be aware: " proven " means it works. " unproven " does not mean it does not work,

just that we have no idea if it works.

BG, it's my understanding that the administration of the brightest person to ever be an OCCIDENTAL matriculant had the practice of IV VitC outlawed during the recent H1N1 debacle. I may be mistaken, but probably not. Jim

It turns out that the LDL cholesterol doesn't just stick to arteries because

it's there, it actually has a function, which is to protect arteries that have

become inflamed and potentially leaky. Inflammation is the culprit for causing

the plaque to form because inflammation damages the arterial lining. There are

cardiologists now who are admitting they have been wrong about cholesterol being

the bad guy. Elevated triglycerides are the danger. Eating sugar and other

refined foods raise triglyceride levels.

the You Tube video " sugar, the bitter truth " is interesting in this regard. the

Dr. points out that elevated LDL levels alone cannot predict, but high LDL and

high triglycerides are what is looked for in analyzing results. If that is the

situation, it indicates presence of small, dense LDL which is the one that is

capable of plaque formation. Testing for small dense LDL directly is expensive,

but looking for the combination is not, and is predictive.

Liposomal vitamin C, where the vitamin is encased in lecithin, is supposed to be

well tolerated and very well utilized. High levels, beyond bowel tolerance, can

be achieved. There is a form of C, ascorbyl palmitate, that I believe has a long

loitering time in the body and goes into fat tissue. I use the one by Life

Enhancement.

WRT lysine and arginine, if you have type II herpes, like me, anytime you eat

nuts or seeds (beans, popcorn), both high in arginine, taking lysine will

prevent the herpes from breaking out. The virus will use the lysine, instead of

arginine, to build its membrane and that will kill it. I always take a couple

grams of lysine daily and it does work well. But if I forget to take it a

breakout can occur. The ideal ratio is two to one, two grams lysine for each

gram of arginine. I have been doing this for 16 years.

Peace and gratitude, Dean
