I wanted to add that this morning was my first opportunity to use my zapper (had

to wait for the glue to dry on the paddles). I used it on my jaw for a jawbone

and tooth infection that I had been treating quite successfully with colloidal

silver that I brew myself. I did notice the metallic taste in my mouth and

tooth seems a little less sensitive. Used it on swollen lymph nodes in my

throat and they seem a little less swollen. Used it on my feet and my left foot

seems less painful than it usually is (caused by a jones fracture, followed by

surgery and has hurt ever sense).

So now my question is, is it so important to have the multimeter read a certain

level (mine didn't get about about 1.78mA)? It's a great on/off switch! What

am I missing here?

good going, the only thing you're missing is...experience with it.

your " .2mA " will just mean you are stuck spending more minutes with it. higher

current requires less time. the usual range is .4mA-.8mA or so.

If you want more current there are 2 tricks, the baking soda which you know, and

lengthen the bare wire inside the sponge to give greater contact area. This

second one is marginally effective.

If you keep the current wetting solution which evidently has a low conductivity,

and do not find the above 2 methods acceptable or workable, the next way would

be to increase the voltage with a new battery, say 9 volts. However, the nice

thing about the 6 volts is that no matter what wetting solution you use, the

current can only go so high and should be safer than 9 volts. I think 9 volts

is too strong to be safe under all conditions, while 6 is likely to pose little

risk at all. We have not proved anything, mind you, but so far this is how it

seems to me after using various voltages up to 36 volts. I have received 3rd

degree burns, been knocked off my chair, etc. you need not repeat these

experiments, we have that info. :)
