Hi, Kb,

This is excellent thought, you just need one or two more facts to clarify a

little.

The idea behind using plastic bags is mostly due to some folks having pacemakers

and other things that might be risky if current goes through their hands into

the heart/etc areas. Otherwise it does not significantly change the current

going into the body on the other side of sponges. No loss at all really. The

body is the main resistance. If using a meter you will see more current since

more is being dispensed, but it is not significant.

feel anything. No tingling at all usually. Now I am wondering, since I believe I

have seen a demo with hands (not sure) inserted in plastic bags, if I am doing

this incorrectly. It would seem to me that with bare skin at both sides of each

sponge current would run to both skin surfaces dissipating energy among four

points rather than being directed between the intended two points of contact.

For example, sponges held with bare hands at both sides of the jaw with teeth as

intended target would have two potential paths. One path would be from hand to

hand and one path would be from one side of the jaw to the other. So am I doing

it wrong or thinking about it wrong? This question has been bothering me for a

while.
