Guest guest
Last Friday my husband [63 years old], a carpenter accidentally shot himself in the hand with a nail gun. It went in about an inch and was located by the second knuckle of his thumb next to the hand and index finger. How it missed the bone I do not know but it obviously did. By the time he got home from work it was sealed up with no bleeding or drainage of any sort. It was quite painful but he would only agree to soak it in hot epsom salt water. I strongly encouraged him to go get a tetanus shot but he refused and he basically told me to make it well. LOL By bed time he was in very much pain and was running a fever so he agreed to take a tylenol. After cleaning the wound well I got him into bed and I hooked him up to the godzilla. I used a damp sponge and placed the wires which had a copper penny on the ends and placed them on each side of the puncture wound. After about 20 minutes I put one of the pennies on the palm side of his hand opposite where the wound would be with the other penny by the wound proper and kept it there for another 20 minutes. The next morning he couldn't believe nearly all of the pain was gone and he could easily move his hand and his fever had abated. He went to work, over did it and was once again in pain [but not as bad as before] and running fever. I did the same as the night before with the godzilla. He woke up Sunday morning feeling fine and in very little pain. I had him do nothing but rest and use the godzilla like before except we did it for only 20 minutes 3 different times during the day. I also had him drinking 2 ounces of colloidal silver several times a day Saturday and Sunday [just to throw something else at it]. He did not run anymore fever and by Monday morning he was fine with no swelling and only slight tenderness at the site of the wound. He could easily touch each finger to his thumb without any pain or difficulty. He thought he would be off work for most of the week because of how much pain he had been in so he was pretty amazed he was well enough to go to work on Monday. At this point [Thursday] the puncture wound is completely healed. I was extremely worried about infection especially since he was running fever but the godzilla took care of it. Thank goodness! Case closed. LOL
