Guest guest
Stevie, Thanks for the info and good luck to you. I have a brother in Texas that is going through many test and has not got his results that I know of. But he has been in and out of rehabs. and prison and is a heavy drinker and going to a Methadone Clinic. Don't know about anyone else but this Methadone thing to me is just a legal way for the Government to make money off it. He says he is more hooked on the Methadone that Heroin and getting off of Methadone can kill you. He is frightened to death about having to detox from Alcohol and Methadone. I just can't stand to think about it. Guest guest
i take celebrex and it hasn't seemed to harm my liver. they have watched it very closely. I also take an injectable drug called Enbrel twice a week. It is a miracle drug for me!! I just went back on peg and reb after a 3 week vacation from it. the depression got too bad. but now i opnly have 2 months left. already hace completed 10 months. my viral load went from 9 million down to less than 3000. i'm extremely fortunate to be a 'responder' (but i don't believe god had anything to do with it). the sides have been relly bad, but i took a year away from everything to devote my life to getting over this. i am already disabled and on SSDI so didn't have to worry about that. i've been too sick to do much of anything. also lost 50 pounds from the nausea, diarhhea and lack of appetite. luckily i could stand to lose the weight!! i'm just thankful that there is a treatment no matter how bad it can be. Guest guest
Hi everyone, It's Dana again!! I am just learning so much. I had done alot of research on all of this, but it just keeps getting more and more and so many different opinions. Tobi, Thanks for the info on the meds, I will check it out! And congrats on the responding. After all the side affects you go through I hope it works out positive or at least keeps your level low and has done some healing. , When they tested me for HepC in 1997 it was not considered a comunicible disease or at least not here. My brother is in Texas and said that his was reported to the health department. Wow things change or are different all over. But I did not half to get and ID. Maybe that is because of my insurance. I am not sure. And Stevie, How much longer before you start treatment and what type of treatment are you going to be going on? --- psteviepp <sperrine@...> wrote: > Good for you! U give us all hope. Guest guest
Carol, You sound as bad as I am right now. Too much on our plates. I think everything in life is Political. That just seems to be life if you think about every process that you go through. You can use it for good and for bad. People have a choice on what they choose to believe in. And sometimes we are just angry! But this too shall pass! I know, you did not want to here that! Tehee! But laugh, it will make you feel better! Laughter heals more than anything I think. As long as I still have my since of humor, I know I have not gone completely mad. And that goes for your brother too! I have 2 dogs and 2 cats. They give me more love than anything. Could not imagine just leaving them somewhere!!
