Guest guest
Dear Mistieyed, You have been given great advice abouthow to solve this. I would use the alligation method. See my Tutorial on Alligation # 2 where you have two strengths of the same drug. By using and seeing the set up you will note that the Quantity of the amount you are going to make is Always multiplied. Always set up the tic tac toe that I have drawn for an example BEFORE you plug in the numbers. You cannot go wrong if you draw the equation 'shell' first. Plugging in the numbers and doing the calculations with the calculator then takes less than 2 minutes total. Let me just say this! As a chemist who had studied calculus I never found an easier method to do this dilution math than by using an alligation method (tic tac toe) . and I NEVER learned this in an algebra class or calculus! It does not exist there!!!! What does exist is percentage math only . So once again I say pharmaceutical math can not be taught by plain algebra. What I call 'conceptual' math is most important. Guest guest
Sorry, but your patient cannot be eating a healthy diet with that much weight gain. That is a very good reason for her condition. These patients have dysinsulinemia, are sorely lacking in progesterone and have hyperestrogenism. The best treatment for her is to get off refined carbos and supplement with progesterone. PCOS persons are very prone to develope diabetes. You need to ask her some poignant questions about what she terms a healthy diet. Castiglia

PS: deblocking cysts etc. ( in respect to dietary measures )could be done by erasing all aninmal proteins from diet. (no subject) I have a client with poly cystic ovaries who has not had a period for over a year and has gained about 22 kilo's in weight with a great deal of this in very enlarged breasts, we have done 2 treatments on the QXCI and she started to bleed after the first treatment. She has been bleeding now very lightly for 3 weeks and it is now getting heavier. She is worried by this as this was how her problems started. I have done lots of hormone rebalancing and testing for supplements. She eats a fairly healthy diet and goes to the gym 4 times a week. Guest guest
Give a good 'female-foodsupplement' p.a. PMT (Biotcs Research) in high dose (3x 2 tablets a day), extra selenium and vitamine A. Check for use of proteolitic enzymes (bromelain, papain or combination to use on an empty stomach). Check for iodine deficiency and intolerance. (advice 15-20 drops of potasiumiodine oral per day and same as washing). Further check calcium and vitamine D. Good luck, Bert van Aalst. Guest guest
Hi Mistieyed, Phenergan (promethazine) has several indications. It is used to treat: 1. the symptoms of perennial and seasonal allergies 2. in combinations with other drugs to treat anaphylactic reactions 3. prevention of motion sickness 4. prevention and control of nausea and vomiting associated with anesthesia and surgery 5. Post or Pre - Operative sedation, obstetric sedation 6. in combination with other analgesics to control post-operative pain It is listed as a member of seveal drug classes: Phenothiazine Dopamine Blocking Agent Antihistamine Antiemetic Anti-motion sickness agent Sedative/hypnotic I think maybe your card should have read something like this " selectively blocks H1 receptors, blocking the effects of histamine on cells in the upper respiratory tract and eyes " so phenergan is used to decrease the sneezing, mucus production, itching and tearing associated as symptoms of an upper respiratory tract infection. Hope this helps. Lynch-Brunozzi, CPhT

Guest guest
My daughter Mandy uses the hospital rubber gloves when she is doing any cleaning. These are the type that are used in hospitals, and can be purcahsed at any medical supply house. Although the fingers are longer, you can actually pull the fingers up to fit, and the gloves fit her. There are ones with powder inside (which she cannot use), and others without the powder. Perhaps this may work for you. -Debi Hoggan Pequena114@... wrote: In lieu of discussing bowel obstruction woes, I have a question: I'm looking for some rubber gloves to do basic household chores to save my nails and my hands when working with cleaning chemicals, etc... I have yet to find a pair of gloves that fit my hands well enough to give me enough dexterity to get the job down without alot of hassle. Now mind you, I have longer fingers for an achon and somewhat narrow hands, but I still have difficulty finding a glove that works well for me. I realize it will be impossible to find a perfect fit, but does anyone have any suggestions or know of any product that works well for them? Guest guest
I had the same problem being an SEDc (we have long skinny fingers but kinda small hands at least I have small hands, if that makes any sense.) anyway, I went to my local drugstore and I asked the Pharmacist if the surgical rubber gloves came in any sizes smaller than a med and he said " oh yeah, you can get them in size small and you can even get them in x-small " . Cool huh? Needless to say I ordered a box of 100 hundred right then and there (he didn t carry x-small in stock, gee I wonder why? ;-) ) So when I went back and picked them up 2 days later I tried them on right there in the pharmacy because he said that if they didn't fit I didn't have to pay for them, but they were a perfect fit. I use them for cleaning and everything else I need rubber gloves for. I hope this is of some help to you, like I said ask your trusy Pharmacist. If your main pharmacy/Pharmacist doesn't carry them and can't order them then try other drugstores and if all else fails go to a medical supply store I'm almost positive you'll get them there tho you may pay a bit more but believe me it's worth it to have them fit comfortably. OK, enough rambling from me. Sorry this was so long everyone. Good Luck , keep me posted. Wanda =^@.@^= tigereyes70@... I'M LITTLE!!, I'M LOUD!!, I'M SHORT!! Guest guest
There is not a problem. buying new..especially if the purcahse is maed via an experienced and competent broker. They know the process and have all the information. If you sell second hand then there used to need to be a change of ownership process and ieally the QX needed to go back to QX and be reimported. Guest guest
Aye the Laminectomy surgery is a simple procedure but get a good dr to do so, who is familiar with dwarfism. Basically the Laminectomy surgery they cut you open, cut your spine apart in the trouble areas and widen the spinal canal (stenosis is narrowing of the spinal canal). From what others have said on this list it is very common for Achon dwarfism as well as a couple other types. I went through this surgery in December, if I had not fallen and severed my spinal cord I would be back to normal. Guest guest
Hi Alice: I'll try water. The change is on both the 3G and the BWP--I think I'm doing okay with the volume turned way down but I'm wondering about the classroom situation tomorrow. Pat says she'll call Cris to see if she can fit me in sometime. Hal
Guest guest
Hi Hal, I'm sorry you woke up to this today and also sorry you are ill. You haven't been feeling well for over two weeks now. I do have a reaction to meds and the sound. For me it's anything with asprin and some antibiotics but it seems to be the tinnitus that makes the difference. I will get a whirring, hollow and an echo sound and sometimes hard to hear over. One thing I've done when I noticed this is drink extraf water. It seems to push the meds thru better and clear up the sound problem. If this continues, I'd call Cris and Dr Horn in the morning. It sounds as if this is happening with both the BWP and the BTE. Am I right? Guest guest
, BOY do I miss you! So glad to hear that you are doing so well MARRIED...WOW, who would have thunk it! You sound just great and I am so glad that you are doing well. I would love to see you. Let's get together sometime. V. 556-1919 (no subject) Hello to all my dear friends of the past! YOU ALL KNOW WHO YOU ARE! It has been a long time since I've posted....I actually was on my way to work this morning at 5am thinking " man, this is the 22nd of November, my anniversary of the MGB. I promised myself I would drop just a few lines to reach out to those needing any help or questions I could answer and to those I miss so much. I lived and breathed the MGB for over 3 years! I have gotten way out of touch the last year since I got married and somewhat the year before that when I went wild,,,,haha. I continued to be very healthy (a little too much, have gained some weight back, but I could afford it at a previous size 2 and 4) but I am so fortunate to have my health. I have never had ANY problems after the MGB, with perfect checkups and scopes. Believe me (and those who know me) after the first 6 months and year I endulged in quite a few things unacceptable by MGB standards. I miss everyone so much and hope all my buddies (as well as everyone else) are well and happy! There is not a day that goes by that I don't feel lucky to have found this surgery and especially all the wonderful people I have met, who have helped me and who I have been able to helped myself. Still love you guys! in Raleigh, NC MGB 11/22/99 270 size 22/24 124 pounds size 2/4 for several years now size 8 mostly for the last year ( and still holding thankfully!)
