Guest guest
, I am a toe walker, always have been. No surgery needed or recommended. When I got the cross trainers and inshoe orthotics, this changed how I walk and now I put my heel down first, then toe. I don't have trips or falls when I've got them on. Look into this before surgery...when I am barefooted, most of the time I walk heel toe, as PT drummed it into me in 'walking therapy' - but evenings when I am tired in general, I am more prone to fall or trip. Or also if I have not put my orthotics into my Ugg boots, I can trip. Look for a GOOD orthotist and see what he/she can do with orthotics and shoes. ~ Gretchen
Guest guest
Well you don't seem to have the type I have, lol. Seriously tho my doctor and a doctor at childrens hospital diagnosed my kids with CMT by doing the tip toe test. I was lucky and had all the tests but with family history tip toe test is all they gave my 4 yr old ( at the time) and her brothers.
