Guest guest
Weldon, I had tendon transfer surgery on both feet when I was 10 or so, right after I was diagnosed. My surgery went very well. So far it has lasted 39 years and have not needed any other CMT foot surgery. To help my walking, yes, I am a toe walker, always have been, about ten years ago started wearing custom made in-shoe orthotics plus really good footwear. Ah. Now these feet are made for walking!!!! I had no complications at all, although my whole life my feet have hurt, before surgery and after. Just a CMT 'thing'. I would suggest a couple of opinions on this surgery though. ~G
