Guest guest
Hello to all, First of all, I will be attending the Funtogether for . I am thrilled it is in Santa Barbara (where I went to undergrad at UCSB!) and I look forward to meeting some of the members of this group! Gretchen, you couldn't have picked a better place! Even though I am about 1500 miles away from me now,we plan to wrap this into our vacation this year. Now, about self-esteem: I feel that my good self-esteem has come from a lot of caring people cheering me on every\ step of my journey, with school, career, etc. My self- esteem also has been boosted by my personal spirituality and the lessons I am learning. Yes, I do feel that a positive self-esteem does indeed influence my attitude and plays a role in minimizing my CMT symptoms. I have had to work incredibly hard to get where I am today in my career and in my personal life. I doubt I would be " here " without a healthy self-esteem and all that has gone into developing it. Sure Rocky, the " game " changes, it always will! Look at the " Survivor " TV series! Their " game " was always changing...and they learned! Once I got the " plays " to be flexible, and adaptable, I started to not mind the changes - rather relish them. JJ ____________________________________________________________ woof! woof!
