ust to say hi, new to club.....live in

Louisiana....<br><br>Both hubby and I have hep c, he has cirrohsis, and is

on meds(interferon...into 6th month now).<br>He

seems to be responding, alt/ast are hovering in normal

range...platelets are low though, he is now on temp.

disability......we are looking for info/persons who have gone

through ssd processes.....I am not on meds, but some of

my symptoms are: dull ache in right upper quadriant

of abdoman, extreme fatigue and depression...I went

for my 6 month blood check at internist and am

waiting on results.<br><br>What is an infectious disease

doctor? We have internist, gastroenterologist, and

hemotologist, and hepatologist.....lol.....isn't this

enough?<br><br>We were both dx'd in Aug. of 97....hub had been dx'd

in '85 w/non A?/non B?.....Doc's said don't worry,

it will go away, just don't ever donate blood

again!!...yea, right!!<br><br>Looking forward to info and

chat.....love to chat!!....Thanks for setting up this support

group....great idea, and to all my friends that I emailed to

invite, looking forward to all of us getting together

soon and meeting new friends.<br><br>God
