Guest guest
Hey everyone, Lately I have seem to be having more and more problems with CMT. I think it is progressing pretty fast and I am not sure what the future holds. I need some positive thoughts because I am just going to come out and say that I am scared. I am 16 and really scared of how much I am going to be able to handle and what things I can and can't do. I know we talk about focusing on one day at a time, today. But it's really hard, when I am a junior in high school and trying to make decisions for my future. It's really hard to focus one day at a time, when the things I am focusing on, are for my future. Has anyone out there felt this way? What kind of things should I be looking at and taking into consideration? Thanks. ________________________________________________________________ GET INTERNET ACCESS FROM JUNO! Juno offers FREE or PREMIUM Internet access for less! Join Juno today! Guest guest
hi, shannon, i know exactly what you are going through. i am having to deal with the same issues right now, also. it is hard. i'll be 21 next month and i go to a community college. it gets difficult to walk across the campus sometimes and that frightens me. my cmt is also progressing faster. two years ago i was able to walk around the block a couple times, but now i have a hard time walking from parking lot to a building. i have the same fears that you do. i wonder what is out there that i can do. but, i've come to learn (and trust me it took awhile) that you must NEVER let anything or anyone stand in your way of your dreams or goals. the mind is the most powerful thing in your possession. there are NO boundaries with the mind. i'm thinking about switching my major to psychology for that very reason. i am fascinated with how the mind works and how much it is capable of. i hope to get my doctorate one day, so of course it means more years in college and more walking. what helps is setting a goal first, that is usually the hardest part. finding ways to achieve it will fall in place, and you'll always have caring people out there who will be more than willing to help you. take care --kelly --- butterflypower@... wrote: > Hey everyone, > Lately I have seem to be having more and more > problems with CMT.
