Have kinda a funny story that goes with this.........Thought Id share

since it was brought up. (Sorry Aunt Pat)....hehe.

Pat and I (and Chance) went to our first MDA appt in December. There

was alot of people in the waiting room and on our way out Pat asked if

anyone had CMT. This man said " yes I do " . As Pat started to talk to

him he added " Its good " . She looked at me very confused and started to

say something else, but then just said goodbye......lmao, then he

started talking to another lady and I think they thought Pat was talking

about the CMT channel. The look on her face when he said " its good " was

a picture taking moment. I laughed so hard all the way home.

Well gotta get going. Chance has an update to his IEP today. He has

new homework this semester writing 10 sentences of at least 8 words

each. His hands get so tired and then he gets winey, so I think I will

see if he can use the computer to type out the sentences. Then tho the

school will probably think Im making excuses for him.......but Im ready

to fight today...:)

Oh speaking of that Chance got a brand new computer for xmas. I cant

afford to go online with it right now for him but hes satisfied with

just having it like it is. The Starlight Foundation got it for him. He

has wanted a computer for 2 years now and I got the webtv, but it wasnt

what we expected. He cant do his reports and science projects or play

games with it. So I looked up some of the organizations that do

" wishes " for kids with disabilities. I didnt expect them to do anything

bc usually they do wishes for seriously ill children, but I figured I

could at least give it a try. Then the letter they sent me said that it

would take up to several months IF they did choose him. 1 week later (4

days before xmas) boxes started rolling in. They got the computer,

desk, printer, controller, game, even paper for the printer. So if

anyone ever wants to donate to a good charity, the Starlight Foundation

made Chances dream come true.

Geez I dont write much, but when I do, look out...:)

Have a good day.

Amy
