What type of Doctor should I see

I was scheduled to see a hepatologist july 12, but was habing car

problems and unable to keep appointmen. It would have been a 2 hour

drive and depending on what he wanted to do, I probably wasn't going to

be up for it. A friend's mother went to see an Internest. I am not

going to be able to make the trips back and forth, so must find someone

locally that can help with symptoms and regular blood exams. I've

nixed the idea of doing a biopsy. Doesn't matter when I got it, I'm

not going to do the Inferion treatments and will treat the symptoms.

Anyone seeing someone other than a hepatoligist, or liver specialist.

I live in a reasonably large town, but not a major city, soe there are

none locally.
