Guest guest
Optimism is grace in action. --Sam Friend An optimist is one who falls from a 20-story building and at every story shouts, " I'm all right so far. " Optimism is a gift we can pass on to others. We have a choice about how we view our world, and each morning choose how we will live our day. We can choose to focus on negatives, or we can choose to expect the best for the next 24 hours. We are generally as happy as we make up our minds to be. There is great power in positive thinking. When we feel frightened about something in the day ahead, we can practice visualization. We can visually rehearse the fearful event, picturing ourselves in the best possible light. What would we like to have happen? How best might the situation turn out? Then we can practice seeing those positive results and seeing ourselves as confident, happy, and full of energy. We don't have to be paralyzed by fear. We can learn to confront terror and work it through. Visualizations can disarm our fears. They can help us approach the day and our lives more positively. Today, let me choose to believe that I am exactly where I am supposed to be. Never let me forget that the plan for me is good. .................................................................................\ ....
