I know Dorothy and I am so sorry for you. What you don't know is Jana and

I have been communicating off line and that bloating is usually NOT

ascites. I am very sorry for the loss of your friend. I have lost maybe

ten this year...... When I first had it, I thought oh my GAWD

ascites...... now twenty years later, no doc knows what the hell it is...

but about half the people I know with hep have the bloating.......... If

she is not sick and it is not soft and water feeling..... it is NOT

ascites.......... I am so sorry I sounded so mean..... please forgive me

and again, I am so sorry for your loss...... But as you can see by posts

from me and Bob and I know from ten years of running groups....... unless

someone is very ill and is in end stage.......... 99 percent NOT ascites,

but yes should be looked into and if not ASCITES, they will just do a

bunch of tests and say nothing is wrong. I am so sorry to have hurt your

feelings. Please forgive me, sally
