Guest guest
My sister had a hip replacement a year ago as a direct result of her CMT. She's doing great.

Make no mistake, it is a rough surgery and recovery, but the results were well worth it. I stayed on the rehab floor in the hospital for two weeks after 4 days on the surgical floor. They had me up and walking just a few hours after I got back from the recovery room. I went to PT twice a day and had occupational therapy once a day. Before the surgery I could barely walk at all because the pain was so severe. I have spent the past three days helping my daughter move into a new house and set up the nursery for the new baby coming soon. I could not have done that at all three years ago.
