, A lady in the Ohio support group just had

one done, last I knew she was getting along fine.

Email is " dotcain@... " this is Dot Cain, the

" leader " of our group and can put you in touch with

the lady.

I had hip replacement surgery 3 years ago and wish I had done it sooner. Make

no mistake, it is a rough surgery and recovery, but the results were well

worth it. I stayed on the rehab floor in the hospital for two weeks after 4

days on the surgical floor. They had me up and walking just a few hours after

I got back from the recovery

room. I went to PT twice a day and had occupational therapy once a day.

Before the surgery I could barely walk at all because the pain was so severe.

I have spent the past three days helping my daughter move into a new house

and set up the nursery for the new baby coming soon. I could not have done

that at all three years ago. C

Wow, thanks for the information. I go to see the

ortho surgeon in a few hours and I needed to hear

that. I'm glad you're doing so well....gives me hope.
