Guest guest
When you were diagnosed they would have the geno type that you have you can ask your doctor. I think they go higher than 4---what they do is tell you what area of the world they are most prominant in---4 is something like middle eastern /african--I can't understand how I came up with that strain but I did. It is also one of the ones that don't respond. i have done treatments twice--got close on the 2nd try but no cigar. I finally have health care again and am seeing a doctor on Monday-haven't seen a ldoctor in over a year-I have been feeling pretty poorly with pain the last few days so i need to get back into doing something fatigue --joint pain is terrible . > > ...i didn't know they went to 4, since all i seem to see on these lists is > 1-3. pretty rare? > i don't know mine. > > > geno types > > > > > > does anyone have geno type 4b? Guest guest
Hi Bob, you can goggle hepatitis genotypes and they will explain them one of the sites even shows a little map--there are more than 4 out there. Also any books out there should have a section on them, I have an old book that goes up to 3 but with more research the newer books have more info. There are millions of people out there with this alot of people don't even know that they have it. I even tried to forget that I have it.--none of us can run away from it but we can try to learn as much as we can and fight as hard as we can to get rid of it or manage it. good luck > > > > ...i didn't know they went to 4, since all i seem to see on these > lists is > > 1-3. pretty rare? > > i don't know mine. > > > > > geno types > > > > > > > > > does anyone have geno type 4b?
