Hi Gretchen and my Family,

This is a fabulous list, you should add video editing ;)

This TIMING on this list is almost EERILY PERFECT, for two reasons!

Right at the MOMENT I received the 'list,' I was typing my response to

you, Gretchen, regarding my 'NEED' to WORK!

Additionally, I am currently SEEKING EMPLOYMENT!!!! I know this is NOT

the proper forum for such a request, however I do need help. Gretchen ,

you may delete my message if you believe that it is inappropriate,

however as I was reading the 'list' it just occurred to me that I may

just ask the family if they happen to know of any opennings in my

field or have any suggestions.

I'll simply put a brief description and if ANYONE has any ideas or

leads, just email me privately at stronggirl2@.... My name is

Judy Garland Piersol and I have 18 years experience in a large variety

of jobs in the 'Entertainment Industry' - Currently, due to an

unfortunate situation at my current job, as the Dept. Head & Instructor

of the Film and Video Program at a public school in San Francisco, my

position will be dissolved as of June 2002, due to 'cut-backs.(which

MAYBE a blessing in diguise, I NEED to get out of TEACHING and be doing

something 'more creative) So, I am seeking a 'creative position' in Los

Angeles. Although, I am currently teaching ALL aspects of Film/Video

from 'Concept to Completion,' at such institutions as UC Berkeley and

the School of the Arts, additionally I do freelance work, such as

writing, directing and digital editing, to name a few.

In short; " The wide variety of skills and talents I possess, make up a

repertoire of experience and knowledge, when coupled with my dynamic

level of determination and tenacity, result in a multitude of areas, of

which I am qualified; “From Concept to Completion.” Over the past

eighteen years, through Education and Hands-on Work Experience, my

philosophy to develop and hone my skills and gain as much experience in

as many areas of Film, Video, Broadcasting and Advertising, etc., so as

to make myself a qualified candidate in many diverse areas, as

possible. "

I have only just begun my job search, however, I am aware that my

experience, skills, talent, determination and tenacity may not be enough

to get my 'wheel' in the door. Aside from being such a male dominated

industry, my odds seem to drop considerably, due to my physical

disability. This is why I am asking, that if you have any ideas or

contacts, please email me and I will send you my resume and bio for your

review.

Thank you Gretchen, if you allow this message to post, for it may just

be the a way for me to find new employment and maintain my independent

living status. Additionally, thank you to everyone at for all of

the support and inspiration you have given me over these past few

months.

Thanks again

Peace & Love to ALL!
