What do you mean your neck locks forward? i think that is what mine

does, but i'm not sure. I go to the chiro three times a week for

YEARS. i love him. But I was curious about your neck going forward. I

have a severe reverse curve, and i remember not being able to hold my

head up. I hope you feel better!!!! cindy

My cervical vertebrae are locked ( subluxated) in an anterior position, they

can't pivot backward in order to form the curves in the neck. This is not

one of my original symptoms.

I have had MRI's, which show nothing that would cause this (or that would

cause any of my other pain symptoms in the neck and back)

Apparently chiropractors are not taught specifically how to adjust an

anterior subluxation (maybe because it is difficult to do? I don't know-) I

am looking for a chiropractor who is good with necks (and necks, I think,

are tricky to begin with) Thanks - lmasju

Your right, necks are tricky. I found a good chiro. but i was lucky,

I dont know about that, i think a good chiro could do a neck like

yours. I'm just guessing. My neck may be similiar to yours,it locks

up, have a subluxation, and reverse curve. you know what, the best

way to find one maybe is ask people in your town or city. ask people

at the stores, anywhere you go. Who is a good chiro in the area.?

They'll probably know. That is sort of how i found mine. cindy

THanks, . I do keep asking people in the area, but no luck so far.

Seems that most people who go to chiropractors have back problems, instead

of predominantly neck problems -

One thing I found out about chiropractors is they need to do a stand up xray on

your sping to show you what is wrong.  If you have a neck problem you should be

able to see your progress after a time of adjustments.

That's true (but do the regular x-rays show subluxations, or do they show

'only' arthritis and frank pathologies?). I have found that the the x-ray

techs place the person in the position that they want the patient in - so if

a person has an abnormal stance, or tilts to one side, that won't

necessarily show up in the x-ray, right? Les
